I can make you a morning suit that fits and flatters your figure perfectly.
Morning SuitMaking a bespoke morning suit is an extremely difficult task. But I can make you a morning suit that fits and flatters you perfectly, gives you poise and sophistication which will ensure that your look is appropriate and correct for whatever social situation you are attending.
Making morning suits is not for the faint hearted, or an inexperienced tailor. Getting the proportions right combined with a great fit only comes with experience. The front edge needs to clip and hold the front edge of your thighs, while the back needs to hang and drape beautifully, yet gracefully curve into your back. A liberal use of the iron is required to ‘work up’ these garments, stretching and shrinking at crucial points on the cloth enables the finished morning suits to fit the body perfectly.
Morning SuitYou have a wide choice of cloth from world class merchants that I use. Many of these cloth merchants have been weaving and selling cloth for almost 200 years. Some of these mills and cloth merchants still weave, and specialise in morning suit fabric.
The choice of the cloth, and the process of make is your choice. However, with my 31 years practical bespoke tailoring experience means that I can make you a morning suit that is not only appropriate, but functional, and great fitting and looking. Whether it be my bespoke option, or my semi-bespoke made option.
Morning SuitMorning dress is the daytime formal dress code, consisting chiefly for men of a morning coat, waistcoat, and striped trousers, and an appropriate dress for women.
Men may also wear a popular variant where all parts (morning coat, waistcoat and trousers) are the same colour/material, often grey and usually called ‘Morning Grey’ to distinguish it, this is only properly appropriate to weddings and races, and is known as a morning suit.
Slightly less formal, a morning suit can be worn, which has mid-grey matching morning coat, waistcoat, and trousers being more relaxed, this is a traditional option for events in less formal settings such as Royal Ascot, and is now often worn to weddings as well.
